Objective
To design a bespoke, structural bi-fold wedding invitation centred around a ‘daisy’ floral motif. The core creative challenge was to seamlessly merge traditional, ornate wedding typography with a modern layout aesthetic. The clients required a highly balanced visual execution that felt neither overtly masculine nor overly feminine, requiring a carefully curated colour story and clean graphic hierarchy to satisfy both of their design tastes.
Outcome
I established the perfect aesthetic compromise by pulling a sophisticated palette directly from the bridal party’s attire, blending the groomβs charcoal grey suit with the bridesmaidsβ dusty pink dresses. This balanced colour foundation, paired with clean layout structures, successfully bridged the gap between soft organic illustration and crisp geometric design. The resulting print piece perfectly represented both the bride’s and groomβs individual styles, leaving the clients absolutely delighted with the bespoke final product.
